Welcome to our 4th and final newsletter edition of our Integrated Reefer News in 2023. Again, we are pleased to provide you with a selection of news from MCI.
As we reflect on the past year, MCI takes pride in the achievements that have shaped our journey. The latest newsletters highlight key events that underscore our commitment to connecting continents, expanding networks, and pushing the boundaries of technological innovation.
Innovation that continues to be at the forefront with the introduction of Star Cool Intelligent Trip Inspection (ITI) version 2.0. Building on the success of its predecessor, ITI 2.0 takes reefer machine inspection to new heights. With a user-friendly interface, simplified troubleshooting, and the revolutionary ‘Finalize ITI’ functionality, this advanced system enhances operational efficiency and cost savings for the depots and the container operators.
Global Impact 2023 – Uniting Continents & Leading in Innovation
In 2023, we demonstrated a formidable global presence through strategic regional engagements and active participation in the Intermodal Europe Exhibition.
The year commenced with successful service provider gatherings in the Americas, expanding later into the EMEA and Asia regions. Events in Tinglev, Denmark, Qingdao, China, and Dubai, UAE, weren’t just discussions—they were cultural experiences, highlighting MCI’s commitment to building partnerships across continents.
At the Intermodal Europe Exhibition in Amsterdam, MCI showcased its leadership in digitalization and decarbonization. Anders Holm, Director of Global Sales and Service, emphasized our commitment during a panel discussion. Integration of the Star Cool reefer with the Internet of Things and Sekstant demonstrated our dedication to the driving the digital agenda in our industry.
2023 comes to an end…
While 2023 for most in the reefer industry will be remembered as a fairly inactive year with historical low demand for new reefers, with MCI we managed to increase our market share for Star Cool significantly and in parallel, led the OEM connectivity trend with our Sekstant system.
In MCI we are excited about the opportunities for the coming year for enabling connectivity and supporting decarbonization.
Finally, as the year is coming to an end, we wish to thank our customers and partners for their support and cooperation.
