Our strategy has been consistent: to be a complete and reliable reefer partner to our customers, or in short ‘One-Stop-Shop’. Not just a container manufacturer, but a full-service OEM that brings together container design, refrigeration technology, digital monitoring, and lifecycle services under one roof. That integrated approach is not an add-on to our business – it is our business.

The past year has shown that this focus resonates with the market. Strong financial results reflect high demand for energy-efficient, reliable reefers and the value customers place in total cost of ownership over time. At the same time, we are fully aware that market cycles change. Sustaining momentum is not about chasing short-term peaks, but about staying disciplined and investing where it matters.

This is why product development remains central to our strategy. With Star Cool 1.1, we have taken a solid step forward – improving energy efficiency, robustness and refrigerant flexibility, while building on a trusted platform. It is not about reinventing for the sake of novelty, but about continuous improvement that delivers real operational value.

Equally important is what surrounds the hardware. Digital connectivity, data-driven insights, spare parts availability and service support are no longer optional. They are essential. By keeping these capabilities closely connected within MCI, we can offer solutions that are simpler to operate, easier to scale, and better aligned with our customers’ long-term needs.

In this edition, we focus on remanufactured parts as a way to extend asset lifetimes, and our close engagement with customers through global exhibitions and events.
