Quest
Star Cool offers the new energy saving program QUEST (Quality
and Energy efficiency in Storage and Transport) as we greatly
support energy savings within the industry. The QUEST program
reduces the power consumption of reefer machines in
specific chilled temperature areas.
Star Cool and QUEST
QUEST is an energy saving program, however that does not
change the fact that Star Cool already produces the most energy
efficient reefer machine on the market, saving up to 50% in
energy.
Star Cool and QUEST works perfectly together as the QUEST
program includes an increased number of compressor start ups which
the Star Cool Frequency converter handles most optimal.
QUEST can be offered to all Star Cool reefer machines, both
existing and new.
How QUEST works
The QUEST program allows the temperature in the container to
fluctuate within a predefined interval based on the assumption that
the commodity in the container maintains the set temperature. QUEST
in turn only influences the surrounding air inside the
container.
QUEST is a licensed program and can in principle be used in all
reefer machines.
